'Thai One On' is one of the largest restaurants in the City of Lincoln and more than capable of catering for large groups of up to 104 people. Usualy managing to keep groups of up to 60 on group tables. When considering where to dine it is important that all tastes are catered for, and contary to popular belief, Thai food is not all hot and spicey, rather fresh, healthy and very popular. One of the main concerns about feeding very large groups is the restaurants ability to feed all the diners at one time and not experience the annoying problem that some of the diners ar finished before the last ones have been served through the size of the kitchen and staffing issues of the reataurant. Thai food is not usually eaten as we would eat European food i.e everybody chooses a different meal off the menu. In Thailand food is usually eaten Banquet style, where a large number of dishes are placed on the table in front of all the diners, who will then help themselves to whatever takes their fancy. All Thai food dishes compliment other dishes so there is no problem with mixing flavours,tastes and meats. It is not unusual to eat pork, fish and chicken all together! We recommend that all groups of diners over ten persons stear clear of the 'A la Carte' menu and consider the Banquets that 'Thai One On' has become famous for. If the party contains people who are vegitarian or have allergies, just talk about it with the waiter who will put together a special banquet to cater for every body. We assure you that you will not make a mistake following this route.
