Christmas Special Menus

Christmas and New Year in 'Thai One On'.

The Thai people celebrate Christmas in much the same way as the Europeans since westernization, and it is a time of great joy and giving to them as well.

'Thai One On' is decorated professionally and tastefully by 'Christmas World' to be one of the best display of Christmas decorations of any restaurant in the area, making it a truely beautiful place to start your Christmas festivities.
It is our aim to give all our customers a superb time with the right festive atmosphere and levels of cuisine and service that will make you visit to 'Thai One On', at this time, a truely memourable one. We are famed for our ability to  serve large groups of people (up to 70) which makes us the ideal venue for parties of busness collegues and groups of family and friends.
We are booking up very quickly at this time with many of the groups that came last year rebooking. We recomend that you book early to avoid dissapointment
.

We have created some special menus for the Christmas and New Year period. Christmas set menus for two or four people and a Special Christmas Banquet for groups in excess of ten people. These dishes will not be found on the 'a la carte' menu and are made up of all 'Chefs Specials' and include, large River King Prawns, Duck, and prime cuts of chicken, pork and beef. Served with some very special sauces made by our very experienced chefs. 

'Thai One On' Special Christmas Banquet
£20-00 per head

A Special Christmas Banquet created by Charnarong, our Head Chef. This is designed for groups of ten people or more, up to a maximum of sixty dinners. If you have a larger group than this please contact us and special arrangements will be made for you, subject to availability.

Starters
Prawn Crackers and sweet chili
 sauce on the table as you sit down.
Special Christmas Selection of mixed starters with all the accompanying dipping sauces.

Main Dishes
Keang Phed Kai.
Traditional Christmas Chicken in a red Thai curry sauce with coconut milk and Basil leaves.
Goong Pad XO Sauce.
Stir fried King Prawns in a very tasty XO sauce flavored with red onion, minced pork, garlic and dried baby shrimps.
Pla Sam Lod.
Fillet of haddock, deep fried and cooked in a three flavored sauce with pineapple, tomato and pickled garlic.
Panaeng Nua.
Prime cuts of beef in a Chefs own made curry sauce with coconut milk.
Moo Pat Prik Thai Oon.
Stir fried tender pork with young pepper corns and green and red peppers in a special home made sauce.
Bah Mee Pat Prik.
Egg noodles stir fried with vegetables in a tasty Thai sauce.
All served with generous quantities of Thai Fragrant Rice and Egg Fried Rice

'Thai One On' Special Christmas Set Menu
£22-95 per head

A Christmas Set Menu is available for two or four or more dinners. 2 diners may select three main dishes. 
This menu can be multiplied up to suit groups of any size as an alternative to the Christmas Banquet. Also if you would like to substitute some of the dishes from or to the Banquet, this will be possible with prior notification to the date of your booking

Starters
Prawn Crackers with sweet chili sauce on the table as you sit down.

Main Dishes - for 2 persons
Keang Kua Goong
Sweet and sour thick red curry with King prawn, complimented with pineapple and kaffir lime leaves.
Lamb Massuman
A mild and sweet curry with lamb, peanut, potato, onion, carrot and coconut milk.
Kai Phad Prik Thai Dam
Stir fried turkey with black pepper, onion, green and red peppers, mushrooms and spring onion.
Ped Ob Nam Mun Hoy
Stir fried roasted duck with oyster sauce, chinese black mushrooms and spring onion.
Pad Pak Sarm Sa-hai
Stir fried new baby sweetcorn, carrot and broccoli in an oyster based sauce.
All served with generous quantities of Thai Fragrant Rice and Egg Fried Rice

Main Dishes
Goong Phad Nor Mai Farrang
Stir fried King Prawns with asparagus, carrot, mushrooms and spring onion.
Ped Ob Nam Ma Kham
Roasted duck with tamarind sauce, topped with deep fried red onion and corriander.
Nua Phad Phed
Stir fried beef with red curry, gree and red peppers,gallingal, young green pepper caors, sweet basil, aubergine and coconut milk.

Served with
Khaow Pad
Fried rice with egg and finely diced carrot.

Bookings are now being taken for Christmas and New Year 2009.

Please book early for large parties during the last four weeks before Christmas.

Menus - both Set and Banquet will be available in September 2009, but if you would like something special for your group, please come into the restaurant and discuss it at any time prior to your desired booking date.
